Sea to Sky School District

The Sea to Sky School District is located 30 minutes north of Vancouver and stretches from the North Shore of Vancouver up the east side of Howe Sound to Squamish, the gateway to BC’s magnificent alpine country of forests, lakes, and year-round world-class outdoor activities. The area is considered to have a temperate climate and is intensely scenic. The district is comprised of both coast and mountains and includes the communities of Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton.

The International Student Program allows students from around the world to study and learn alongside Canadian students of the same age. The program encourages cultural awareness and international understanding by bringing students together and enabling them to experience similar social and academic opportunities.

Simcoe School Board

The Simcoe County District School Board welcomes students from around the world to participate in full-year and one semester programs.

The SCDSB has nearly 20 years of experience in international education. They have an International Student Program team that includes a program coordinator, administrative and support staff, guidance counselors, teachers and ESL instructors. Each team member is dedicated to supporting an inclusive environment in which both international students and SCDSB students are able to interact and thrive.    

Some of our international students attend an SCDSB high school for one or two semesters, while others graduate with an Ontario Secondary School Diploma and continue their education at colleges and universities in Canada or in their home countries.

Manitoba School District

Southwestern Manitoba is the land of prairie skies and boundless horizons. Manitoba School Divisions offers students the opportunity to enroll schools across Southwestern Manitoba. Their schools teach students ages 5 to 19 from Kindergarten to Grade 12. All schools offer the world-renowned Manitoba Curriculum as taught by highly qualified, energetic and committed teachers and principals. With small class sizes, teachers offer a welcoming and safe learning environment where students are encouraged to participate fully in classroom discussions, individual and group projects and independent learning to enhance their own academic journey.

Manitoba welcomes students for short-term programs of one to 3 months as well as students studying for one semester, a full school year or multiple school years.

Schools offer a combination of compulsory and elective courses to help students create a balanced and challenging program. In addition to academic programs, students may choose extracurricular activities such as music, sports, art, drama, student government and hobby clubs.

Sooke School District

Sooke School District’s international student program offers a high school & middle school immersion program, an academic graduation program, as well as a summer program. Activities that are popular with Sooke students include swimming, horseback riding, golf, skating, hiking, cycling, jogging and exploring the region’s many beaches.

Toronto School District

Pembina Trails School District

There are 34 schools in the Pembina Trails School Division providing service for students in kindergarten to grade 12. The grades in each school represent an Early Years (K – grade 4), Middle Years (grades 5 – 8) and Senior Years (grades 9 – 12) format. All 34 schools can accept international students! The schools cover a large geographic area in the southwest corner of the City of Winnipeg.

Victoria International HS

Upper Grand School District

The Upper Grand District School Board is in close proximity to Toronto, which is the capital city of Ontario. UGDSB schools are in traditional Canadian communities, where over 95% of residents speak English as their first language. Their offices are located about one hour’s drive west of Toronto in the city of Guelph, which is the largest city and primary urban center in the district.

The Upper Grand District School Board serves approximately 32,000 students in a broad geographical area that includes two counties, County of Dufferin and County of Wellington. The International Student Program at the Upper Grand District School Board welcomes students from around the world to attend their elementary and secondary programs.

Upper Grand also provides early-course selection and a guaranteed timetable.  Their ISP students can even choose their courses before they arrive!

Saskatoon School District

Evan Hardy is home to Saskatoon Public Schools International Student Program, and has approximately 35 students enrolled from around the world. Evan Hardy has a substantial English as a Second Language/English as an Additional language (ESL/EAL) student population (beyond the International Student Program). Evan Hardy is proud of their schools cultural diversity.

Evan Hardy is also well known for the excellent extracurricular offerings they provide their students. Of special note is their proud history of extensive extracurricular programming. In the fine and performing arts, they host an annual play and musical. In the sporting realm, they have captured more provincial team championships than any other school in Saskatchewan.
