Public High School USA

The Quest International Public High School USA program is a F-1 public school program offered to international students who are interested in an American high school experience with a host family stay. This program is open for registration until July 27th. We offer an affordable option for unplaced J-1 students to be accepted and placed in an American high school with many flexible options that are not available in the J-1 program.

 

Our schools and host families are located in the breathtaking Pacific Northwest, ever-friendly Midwest, bustling East Coast, hospitable South and scenic West Coast. Schools charge a fee to accept students and offer a variety of programs everything from college prep courses, English as a Second Language, graduation, elective courses, AP classes, IB programs, athletics, student council, cheerleading, school clubs and more.

 

In the Quest International F-1 Public High School program students can choose which state they want to live and which school they will attend. We offer students the ability to live and study in the U.S for one to five years on the F-1 visa.

 

We carefully pre-screen our host families and perform criminal background checks on all potential host families to ensure the safety of our students.  Local Quest International representatives supervise the student, give guidance and support while providing natural parents regular monthly progress reports.

 

Host families are recruited quickly and with care. All of our host families are interviewed during an in-home visit with a local Quest representative.  Host families receive a small monthly stipend, this stipend makes the recruiting of host families much easier and it shows our gratitude to the host family for taking on the responsibilities of parenting a teenager.

Eligible students must meet program requirements:

• 15 to 18 years of age
• Documented school transcripts showing a good level of academic aptitude
• SLEP test (Secondary Level English Proficiency )
• Maturity and flexibility to adjust to customs and culture of America
